As an amateur photographer I love when the pros give me simply tips to look better and lighting is about the most important part of good photography. How to create a High-Key lighting studio using a shoe closet was especially good. Brilliant, keep the ideas coming.
This magazine is full of good basic tips without over doing it.
Great content. Interesting interviews. And no nonsense tutorials to improve your photography.
Clear, concise articles with - not surprisingly! - great illustrations. Definite recommend!

Great for the novice and advanced photographers. Lots of content and illustrations with video. Couldve given a 5 but the subscription part couldve been a little more flexible and maybe give 2 years or lifetime options as they do if you pay by bit coin....

Some bad moments
1.) The content, respectively the articles are ok, but can be more detailed
2.) App. crashes sometimes with iPad I
3.) Too much advertising (Im paying for the content and not for the advertisement)
4.) The app is not really usefull for offline reading
Amazing tips and tricks from true respected professionals. Its been a few months since a new issue has come out and being a subscriber is a bit of a let down. Love the magazine, just keep them coming!!!!!!!
I just got my ipad and was looking to subscribe to a magazine that cater around portraits. I have had magazines which talk too much about cameras and gadgets and not enough about how to use them and especially on portrait use. This magazine blew me away with its high quality presentation. It is a little short in content but concise and to the point so you do not waste time. It quarterly issues but well worth the cost of 2.99 if you subscriber. I spend that on an energy drink. Hope to continue my subscription for a long time. Highly recommend it.
Encouraging and very informative magazine. I love it because it is great help for me as a beginner. What i like most is sharing there gift of what they know about photography. Thanks to all concern.

Magazine is great, but subscribers need an option to buy back issues at a subscription rate and not at the single issue price.
Also - stop bugging people to rate the app!
